- The tousleheadedness of assorted Murphlets as they came out of their rooms after I woke them. Some mornings this worries me (how will we ever get it tidy in time for school), but this morning it just reminded me of when they were little.
- Seeing a pod of dolphins just off shore when I walked along the beach. I love dolphins.
- Working out a way back into a story I've had on hold for 18 months, because I couldn't figure out where to go to fix it. Beach air works wonders!
- The dogs on the beach out walking/splashing with their owners. I swear some of them were smiling at me - so I smiled back.
- Being alive
